OIL
LAMPS:
When
inserting (or reinserting) the wick, you may want to use a long thin
object to slowly guide the wick all the way down. Allow
30 minutes to 2 hours for the wick to absorb the lamp oil before lighting.
Proper
adjustment of the wick height is essential.
Adjust the size of the flame by raising or lowering the wick.
When
filling or refilling oil, do not overfill.
Allow room to accommodate the weight of the wick and glass tube
once inserted. Tip: It is
unnecessary to pull out the entire wick holder from the bottle. Let
the top of the wick holder hang or dangle over the bottle opening and then
refill with oil.
Use
only ultra pure 99% paraffin oil that is smokeless and odorless to
preserve the life of your fiberglass wick.
Other form of lamp oils may stain and damage it.

Unlike wax candles, using "ultra pure" oil will ensure a smokeless
and soot less burning.

Don't
let the oil run empty. Otherwise, it will start burning the
wick.

If
you need to replace the wick, be sure to use fiberglass as it will
last longer than cotton under normal use.

Lamp
oils are available at most stores.
As
with any oil lamps and candles,
- Please
keep your oil lamps (or candles) out of children’s reach.
- If
accidentally swallowed, do not induce vomiting. Call a physician
immediately.
- Use
oil lamps in well-ventilated areas.
- Place
oil lamps on secure and stable surface to prevent accidental tipping
or spillage.
- Never
leave a lighted oil lamp (or candles) unattended.
HAND

Pour
Spouts/Pump Dispensers:

Before
using the pourer, soak in lukewarm soapy water for 10 minutes.
Then, rinse in cold water.

If
cork fins flatten, run corks under hot water for approximately 30
seconds, then run under cold water.

To
remove pourers or pump, twist off clockwise.
Hand
painted bottles:
-
They
are dishwasher & microwave safe, however, do not clean or scrub
with abrasive pads.

Hand
washing is preferable cleaning method.
FACTS
ABOUT SCENTED LAMP OILS:
Scented
lamp oils will not scent a room because the wick is only in contact with
the air in the room. So, when
lit, the flame destroys any scent. The only time you smell any scent or fragrance from lamp oils
is when you take a whiff of it in the bottle and after you extinguish the
flame.
